About the Antitrust Section The Antitrust section provides antitrust counseling, litigation, and representation before the federal antitrust agencies. Our attorneys have deep expertise in numerous industries, and our associates are expected to assume substantial responsibility for their matters. Responsibilities We are seeking an associate to join our Antitrust practice in Washington, DC. Responsibilities will include a wide range of activities, including support for M&A transactions, merger reviews and second requests, representing third parties before the Antitrust Division and FTC, and litigation. Primary hiring criteria include a firm grasp of the substantive antitrust laws and a willingness to take on significant responsibility for client-facing projects. Collaboration with team members is an important component of any role at Mintz. Therefore, the firm requires working from the office approximately 60% of the time in accordance with the firm?s published guidelines. Qualifications A JD from an ABA-accredited law school Admitted or eligible for admission in Washington, DC Substantive 1-2 years of substantive antitrust experience Professionalism in working and engaging with demanding clients Ability to balance multiple competing priorities and responsibilities Ability to stay organized and exercise attention to detail Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings About Mintz Mintz is an Am Law 100 law firm with over 500 attorneys serving clients worldwide.
