One of our companies is currently looking for an Account Director - Utilities in the United States .
As an Account Director in the Utilities sector, you will lead business development and account growth across a portfolio of large and mid-sized North American clients. The role requires a strategic thinker who can engage with senior decision-makers and match their business challenges with insights-driven solutions. You will work cross-functionally with product, sales, and industry teams to deliver data, consulting, and customer experience services that drive measurable impact. This is a client-facing position with high visibility, ideal for a confident communicator with strong industry knowledge. You'll play a pivotal role in expanding the presence and influence of the brand in the utilities space while achieving revenue targets and strengthening key relationships.
Accountabilities:
- Drive new business development and revenue growth within assigned Utilities accounts
- Develop and maintain strong executive-level client relationships (VP, SVP, C-suite)
- Manage a full pipeline of opportunities in Salesforce to support quarterly and annual goals
- Align client needs with services including data analytics, benchmarking, consulting, and certification
- Lead contract renewals and consultative solution sales across the client portfolio
- Collaborate with internal teams to build account strategies and client-specific action plans
- Represent the company at industry conferences and Utilities-related events
Requirements
- 4+ years of consultative or enterprise sales experience with proven success meeting quotas
- Bachelor's degree required
- Background in data analytics or consulting, preferably in the Utilities industry
- Strong business acumen and ability to sell to C-level stakeholders
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- High emotional intelligence and ability to build long-term client trust
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel 2030% of the time
