Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate veterinary nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with exams and treatments, prepare for surgeries, and provide emotional support to pet owners. They should also have strong communication skills and be able to work well with others.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform routine diagnostic tests and collect samples
- Administer treatments as directed
- Clean and sterilize equipment and facilities
- Assist veterinarians during procedures
- Comfort animals in distress
- Educate pet owners on proper care for their pets
- Provide emotional support to pet owners during difficult times
Requirements and Qualifications
- Degree in veterinary nursing or related field
- Prior experience as a veterinary nurse
- Familiarity with animal advocacy programs is a plus
- Knowledge of proper quarantine procedures
- Strong surgical skills
