We are looking for a detail-oriented person to join our team as a travel manager. Your responsibilities will include optimizing our travel operations, booking travel arrangements, providing travel advice, and preparing budget reports.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build positive relationships with travel vendors such as car rentals, hotels, and airlines.
  • Negotiate preferred rates with travel vendors.
  • Plan travel accommodations and book flights, hotels, and car rentals.
  • Manage and process travel documentation, such as payments, itineraries, visas, and medical forms.
  • Assist with any travel-related issues that may arise.
  • Research and compare travel deals to find the best prices and services.
  • Arrange travel accommodations for business visitors.
  • Create, update, and monitor corporate travel policies.
  • Prepare budget reports for travel expenses.
  • Analyze and report on travel spending.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in tourism, travel, or hospitality is required for corporate travel managers.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the travel industry is preferred.
  • Supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Certification in travel or hospitality is beneficial.
