Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Answering questions about our company's services and travel options.
- Talking to clients to determine their travel preferences, including where they want to go, how long they want to stay, and how they want to get there.
- Collecting a deposit from clients before making any bookings.
- Explaining the cancellation policy and any fees that may apply.
- Working within the client's budget to find the best travel options.
- Selecting the most suitable transportation, taking into account budget, schedule, and transit time.
- Booking accommodations that fit the client's budget and preferred location.
- Planning activities and excursions based on the client's interests.
- Considering any mobility or medical needs during the trip planning process.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferably a qualification in tourism or a related field.
- Previous experience as a travel consultant, with knowledge of both local and international travel arrangements.
- Computer skills, including research and writing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
