We are looking for a friendly and confident person to join our team as a Public Relations Assistant. In this role, you will keep track of schedules and media lists, participate in brainstorming sessions, and help plan and execute PR events.
To be successful, you should be creative and have great communication and presentation skills. You should also have a passion for PR and experience with writing, editing, and social media.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Join brainstorming sessions and share new ideas.
- Help create and distribute PR materials like brochures, newsletters, and videos.
- Edit and proofread social media posts, videos, press releases, and other communications for the public about our clients.
- Assist with planning and running PR events.
- Organize and manage PR materials, make copies, and do other office tasks.
- Answer phone calls and emails, and do other administrative work.
- Keep track of schedules and media lists.
- Maintain a database of PR information, document media coverage, and track PR progress.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, media, and vendors.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A degree in communications, public relations, or a related field.
- Knowledge of PR concepts and best practices.
- Experience with creating and editing videos.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Experience with social media platforms.
- Excellent computer skills, including using databases and design software.
