Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Respond to requests from the media for information or press conferences, or choose someone else to speak for the company.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, communities, employees, and other groups.
- Write press releases and other media communications to promote our clients.
- Create programs to help people see our company in a good light and know about our accomplishments.
- Train our clients on how to communicate effectively with the public and with each other.
- Study our company's goals, marketing plans, and needs to create effective public relations strategies.
- Write and edit company publications for both internal and external audiences.
- Manage and update our company's website content.
- Provide advice to managers about trends, group interests, and important business decisions.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
