Job Description
We are looking for a caring physician to provide primary care for patients with injuries and common illnesses. The physician's job is to diagnose and treat these issues, prescribe medications, give advice on lifestyle changes, and answer patients' questions. A physician may specialize in specific areas, such as anesthesiology, family medicine, internal medicine, or pediatrics.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Examine patients, take their medical history, address their concerns, and answer their questions.
- Diagnose and treat injuries, illnesses, and disorders.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and explain the results to patients.
- Counsel patients on healthy eating, hygiene, and other ways to prevent health problems.
- Update patient records with current information.
- Create treatment plans for patients.
- Prescribe medications or therapies.
- Explain medical procedures to patients.
- Collaborate with other physicians and healthcare staff.
- Follow medical laws, such as HIPAA.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A medical degree, residency, and internship.
- A license and certification to practice medicine.
- Knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating various illnesses.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
