Job Description
We are looking for a physician liaison to help us with sales and public relations at our healthcare system. This person will be responsible for building relationships with doctors' offices and increasing the number of patients referred to our facility for treatment and care. They will act as a representative for doctors, medical practices, and hospitals, and help connect referring doctors with specialty physicians.
To be successful in this role, the physician liaison should have strong communication and public speaking skills, as well as the ability to build relationships. They should also be willing to travel for their job.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Reach out to local primary and specialty physicians to increase patient referrals to our healthcare system.
- Meet with local doctors to promote our facility's services.
- Help doctors maintain relationships with specialists and surgeons for confident patient referrals.
- Grow physician referrals and connect our facility with the local healthcare community.
- Meet with referring doctors to discuss patient care, referrals, new treatments, and thank them for their referrals.
- Increase high revenue procedures and surgeries.
- Report to the business development manager and follow our facility's marketing goals and philosophies.
- Provide updates on referral growth and practitioner relationships.
- Plan and lead public relations campaigns and awareness efforts.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in healthcare sales may be helpful.
- General knowledge of our facility's services, treatments, and equipment.
- Willingness to travel.
- Strong communication, public speaking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to write reports effectively.
