Job Description

We are looking for a perceptive and creative administrative manager to lead our office and staff. This person will hire, train, and evaluate employees, improve office policies and procedures, and ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently.

To be a successful administrative manager, you should focus on finding and keeping the best employees and making office operations as efficient as possible. You should be organized, analytical, and a strong leader.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office and its staff.
  • Hiring, training, and evaluating employees, and taking corrective action when needed.
  • Developing, reviewing, and improving office systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Making sure the office has all the supplies it needs and that equipment is working properly.
  • Working with the accounting and management teams to set budgets, monitor spending, and process payroll and other expenses.
  • Planning and promoting office events, like meetings, conferences, and training sessions.
  • Organizing and storing information using computers and filing systems.
  • Overseeing special projects and monitoring progress towards company goals.
  • Continuing to learn and improve skills through educational opportunities.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
  • Experience in a related field, like management or financial reporting, preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and time, task, and resource management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, especially MS Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with budget planning and enforcement, human resources, and customer service procedures.
  • Willingness to continue learning and improving skills through educational opportunities.
