The Common Market is a nonprofit organization on a mission to build sustainable regional food systems that benefit everyone. With locations across the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Texas, and plans for expansion into the Great Lakes region, we are committed to creating a more equitable and healthy food system for all.
At the core of our work is our commitment to building relationships between sustainable family farms and markets in their region. By doing so, we are not only supporting local farmers, but also promoting the health of our communities and the environment. By partnering with both farmers and customers, we are able to create a robust supply chain that ensures the full value of a healthy food system is realized.
Since our inception, we have helped over 300 sustainable family farms deliver over 58 million meals worth of food to community institutions. This has not only had a positive impact on the health of individuals, but also on the local economies. By supporting local farmers and businesses, we are creating jobs and boosting the economy in the regions we serve.
We work with a wide range of customers, including schools, hospitals, cities, and businesses, to provide them with the freshest and most nutritious food possible. Our team is dedicated to sourcing and delivering high-quality, sustainably grown food to our customers, making it easier for them to make healthy food choices and support their local communities.
At The Common Market, we believe that everyone deserves access to healthy and sustainably grown food. That's why we are continuously expanding our reach and impact, and striving to make a positive difference in the communities we serve. Join us in our mission to build a better food system for all.
