Workplace Safety Consultant

Our partner is seeking a Workplace Safety Consultant based in Austin, TX. In this role, you will work directly with Texas businesses to assess and enhance workplace safety. Regular travel within a designated territory, including the Texas Hill Country, Austin, and San Antonio, is required. You will develop tailored safety plans, provide training, and reduce workplace risks while helping businesses protect their most valuable assettheir employees.

• Conduct onsite safety visits, evaluate existing safety programs, and perform hazard assessments through worksite walkthroughs.
• Analyze loss data and create reports to assist businesses in prioritizing and improving workplace safety practices.
• Develop and implement safety recommendations to prevent workplace injuries and improve business outcomes.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with businesses by delivering value-added customer service strategies.
• Write detailed reports summarizing safety visits for internal and external stakeholders.
• Create and deliver training resources to promote safe working practices.
• Investigate significant incidents and adverse claim trends to recommend appropriate safety interventions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, and experience.
• At least two years of experience managing workplace safety programs or equivalent.
• Valid Texas driver's license with regular in-state travel to assigned areas.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of workplace safety practices in construction, services, and manufacturing industries.
• Experience in the insurance or workplace safety industry.
• Recognized safety-related certifications.
• Completion of OSHA-specific coursework.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Compensation:
Base pay range: $88,248.70 - $109,013.10 per year.
Flex-hybrid work environment with Texas residency required.
