We are seeking a Welding Project Engineer to become part of the HIROTEC team.
The position would function as a Project Engineer to support the operational needs as the subject matter expert on weld engineering , not limited to resistance welding, laser welding, and edge welding. This position will be reporting to the Project Management Department. Essential functions including process design, tryout and customer buyoff of all welding processes for projects; maintaining process documentation through project buyoff; and primary customer representation on all welding applications.
Qualifications:
- Four-year degree in welding preferred or equivalent experience
- Familiarity of resistance and laser welding processes
- Knowledge of metal joining technologies
- Ability to travel for installation and support both nationally and internationally
- Strong computer skills
- Possess strong organizational, teamwork, and communication skills
