Mayer Brown LLP?s Tax Group is seeking a tax associate with 3 to 5 years of experience focusing on fund formation and asset management to sit in the New York office. This role would include a secondment to our London office (specific timing and duration to be determined) to work with a US partner based in London, with further opportunities for periodic travel to London. This candidate must have experience with private credit, real estate, infrastructure, and private equity funds, fund structuring, asset manager compensation, and related tax issues involving asset management. candidates will have strong law school academic credentials together with relevant tax experience. The New York salary for this position is $260,000 to $390,000 although the actual salary could be lower or higher if the candidate?s skills and experience level are different from those specified.
