Tax Associate

Snell & Wilmer seeks to hire an associate with one to three years of general corporate tax experience to join our Tax practice group, preferably to be located in our Phoenix office, although a remote working arrangement will also be considered. The ideal candidate will have experience with community development and renewable energy tax credits and Opportunity Zone transactions, and will also have some experience in transactional tax practice, including the taxation and structuring of corporate and partnership business transactions, and drafting and negotiating tax-related provisions in transaction documents. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and writing skills. An LL.M. in tax is required. This is a full-time, partnership-track position that is eligible to participate in the firm's benefit plans, including our 401K Profit Sharing and Savings Plan with discretionary employer contribution, and is eligible for consideration for annual discretionary bonuses. The annual base salary range for candidates placed in Colorado is expected to be $180,000-$205,000, depending on experience. The annual base salary range for candidates placed in California is expected to be $210,000-$225,000, depending on experience. We are not currently accepting recruiter submissions for this role.
