Essential Functions
Minimum Education
Juris Doctorate degree from an Accredited Bar Association (ABA). Accredited law school and admission to the bar. Superior academic record.
Minimum Experience
Six (6) years of experience and demonstrated competence as a practicing attorney in a relevant area of law.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
Ability to determine appropriateness of settlement or litigation. Excellent research and writing skills. Strong negotiation, human relations and communications skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Independently handles all aspects of employment and W&H class and PAGA action litigation in California. This includes filing responsive pleadings, engaging in discovery and law and motion practice, trying cases to verdict before juries and judges, and handling issues on appeal.

If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law.
