Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a talented and dynamic Site General Manager to oversee our travel center operations in Las Vegas. The Site General Manager will play a vital role in driving the performance and efficiency of our location, while ensuring that we consistently meet our customers' needs and expectations. This position requires a strong leader who can manage a diverse team and uphold our company's standards in service, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Oversight:
    Manage all aspects of the travel center's operations, including but not limited to fuel sales, convenience store merchandise, and food service outlets.
  • Staff Management:
    Recruit, train, and lead a team of employees, fostering a positive and productive workforce that delivers exceptional customer service.
  • Customer Satisfaction:
    Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction through effective communication and the resolution of customer issues and complaints.
  • Financial Management:
    Monitor all financial performance metrics, analyze data, and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and cost control.
  • Compliance and Safety:
    Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies, particularly regarding safety, environmental standards, and health protocols.
  • Inventory Management:
    Oversee the ordering, stocking, and inventory control of products, ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Vendor Relations:
    Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and exceptional service levels.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a travel center, convenience store, or related industry.

  • Customer Focus: Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing the overall customer experience.
  • Financial Acumen: Proficiency in managing budgets, financial reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with safety regulations, compliance standards, and environmental policies related to the petroleum industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with customers, employees, and vendors.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze situations, identify issues, and implement effective solutions swiftly.
