Riverside Ford is seeking a motivated and experienced Express Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of the Express department, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and revenue growth. This role involves leading, training, and coaching Express service advisors and technicians, with a strong emphasis on upselling services and providing exceptional customer service. The Express Supervisor will work closely with the service department to ensure smooth workflows and consistently high service standards.

Requirements

Team Leadership & Coaching: Supervise, train, and develop a team of Express service advisors and technicians. Provide ongoing coaching to enhance product knowledge, customer interaction, and upselling techniques. Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service.

Upselling & Revenue Growth: Drive upselling opportunities within the Express department by effectively communicating service options, benefits, and promotions to customers. Ensure staff members understand and apply upselling strategies to meet departmental sales goals.

Customer Service Excellence: Foster a customer-first environment, ensuring that customers receive timely, accurate, and high-quality service. Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.

Training & Development: Organize regular training sessions for the team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and best practices in the automotive service industry. Stay up to date with new products, services, and technologies to ensure the team is knowledgeable and prepared to address customer needs.

Operational Efficiency: Oversee the daily operations of the Express department, ensuring that service operations are running smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with dealership goals. Monitor service times and customer flow to maximize productivity.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track and report on team performance, including sales and upsell metrics, customer satisfaction scores, and service turnaround times. Implement strategies to continually improve performance.

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Parts and Sales, to ensure effective communication and coordination in meeting customer needs.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in automotive service, particularly in a supervisory or leadership role.

Strong background in upselling and sales within a service environment.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and coach a team.

Customer-focused with a passion for delivering high-quality service.

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in dealership management software and MS Office suite is a plus.

ASE certification or similar automotive certifications preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods of time and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to work in an automotive repair environment, including exposure to noise, heat, and chemicals.
