Senior VMware VCF Engineer - TS/SCI with Poly

We are seeking an experienced Senior VMware VCF Consultant to join our team onsite at Fort Meade, MD. MUST have an active TS/SCI with Poly. This role is tailored for a highly skilled professional with in-depth expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and core virtualization technologies. As the Resident VCF expert, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the VMware environment, including vSphere and ESXi deployments.

This position requires a candidate with a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with customer stakeholders in a high-security environment.

Salary: 190-237K

• Serve as the primary onsite expert for VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
• Design, implement, and maintain vSphere and ESXi infrastructure
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and performance tuning for VMware systems
• Support system patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet operational and security objectives
• Maintain compliance with DoD and agency-specific cybersecurity standards
• Produce technical documentation, reports, and system diagrams as needed

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Lifestyle Poly
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on VMware experience with a focus on VCF, vSphere, and ESXi
• Security+ certification (DoD 8570 compliant)
• Strong understanding of virtualization, networking, and storage technologies in a secure environment

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification
• Experience working in DoD or intelligence community environments
• Familiarity with automation tools, scripts, and infrastructure-as-code concepts
