Our client is seeking a senior-level Senior Project Director to oversee and manage complex projects across various sectors of real estate development. This is a critical role requiring strong leadership and project management skills to ensure successful project delivery on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. The Senior Project Director will be responsible for guiding project teams, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and local authorities.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, implementing changes as necessary to stay on track.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and other project requirements.
  • Facilitate communication among project teams, stakeholders, and executives to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Prepare and present project reports, updates, and strategic recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
  • Mentor and develop project management staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of project management experience in the real estate or construction sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex projects from conception through completion.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing cross-functional projects.
  • Strong understanding of the real estate development process, including planning, financing, and construction.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial management of projects.
  • Familiarity with relevant local regulations and industry standards.
