The Role:

As the Senior Power Platform Specialist at IQVIA, you will provide expertise, and systems support in developing and enhancing business systems to deliver new or enhanced products to clients or effective planning, reporting, and analysis tools to internal functions. You will specialize in creating custom business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, leveraging your expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to develop applications, automate workflows, and provide actionable insights through data visualization.

Essential Functions:

Formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and requirements.

Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.

Analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and translate them into proper system requirement specifications.

Develop and maintain applications using Microsoft Power Apps.

Create data visualization and reporting solutions using Power BI.

Build database components using Azure SQL Database / SQL Server and related technologies.

Automate business processes and workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct research and analysis, and deliver custom solutions.

Support activities such as data maintenance, bug fixes, user administration, and user training for existing solutions.

Guide and advise less-experienced Business Systems Analysts.

Work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

3-5 years of development experience as a Power Platform Developer or in a similar role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and Power Apps.

Proficiency in development using Azure SQL Database, SQL Server.

Experience with Power Automate.

Knowledge of business-wide applications (e.g., third-party software and internal operational applications) or client-facing applications and products.

Demonstrated ability to understand client requirements as well as underlying infrastructure applications, systems, and processes to enable execution of those skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects and competing priorities.

Ability to work independently with little oversight.

Thorough knowledge of IQVIA data and current systems.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $105,800.00 - $176,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
