We are seeking a Surface Plate Calibration Technicianto join our Field Servicesteam. This position is responsible for performing on-site calibration and lapping of surface platesfor customers across Southern Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

Responsibilities:

Perform calibration and lappingof granite surface plates to meet industry standards.
Use precision instrumentsto measure flatness and ensure compliance.
Travel to customer sites within the assigned territory to provide on-site service.
Maintain detailed documentationof calibrations and service reports.
Provide exceptional customer serviceand technical support.
Ensure compliance with ISO and company standards.

Requirements

Experience in surface plate calibration and lapping is required.
Strong understanding of metrology principles and measurement techniques.
Ability to travel extensivelywithin the assigned region.
Self-motivated, with excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
A valid driver's license and the ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment.
