We are seeking a Surface Plate Calibration Technicianto join our Field Servicesteam. This position is responsible for performing on-site calibration and lapping of surface platesfor customers across Southern Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

Responsibilities:
- Perform calibration and lappingof granite surface plates to meet industry standards.
- Use precision instrumentsto measure flatness and ensure compliance.
- Travel to customer sites within the assigned territory to provide on-site service.
- Maintain detailed documentationof calibrations and service reports.
- Provide exceptional customer serviceand technical support.
- Ensure compliance with ISO and company standards.
Requirements
- Experience in surface plate calibration and lapping is required.
- Strong understanding of metrology principles and measurement techniques.
- Ability to travel extensivelywithin the assigned region.
- Self-motivated, with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment.
