The Senior Financial Analyst provides critical support to leadership by transforming data into actionable insights that guide strategic and operational decisions. This role requires expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, and business intelligencepaired with deep knowledge of the mortgage industry. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

• Deliver accurate, timely, and actionable financial reporting and performance metrics to support decision-making across the organization.
• Build and maintain financial reports, models, and dashboards to monitor sales, profitability, and operational efficiency.
• Implement automation and process improvements to increase reporting efficiency and data accessibility.
• Analyze mortgage market trends and internal performance data to support forecasting and strategic planning.
• Prepare executive and management-level presentations that clearly communicate complex data and business insights.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and scenario modeling to support key business initiatives and executive requests.
• Develop complex financial models for new product development, opportunity analysis, and margin/profitability forecasting.
• Identify opportunities to enhance reporting accuracy, streamline processes, and improve decision-making tools.
• Bring forward innovative ideas and approaches to support continuous improvement in analytics and business insights.

Requirements

• Strong ability to communicate data-driven insights and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficient in extracting, integrating, and analyzing data from multiple systems; comfortable developing assumptions where necessary.
• Skilled in cross-functional collaboration with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Self-starter with a growth mindset and adaptability to new technologies and business needs.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in financial analysis, business intelligence, or similar analytical roles.
• Mortgage industry experience required.
• Experience with business intelligence platforms (Cognos preferred); Encompass LOS experience is a plus.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and strong ability to work with large, complex datasets.

Salary Range: $95,000 - $100,000
