For one of our clients, we are looking for a Sr Data & Analytics Platform Engineer, remotely from the United States.

In this role, you will support the Sagemaker (MLOps) and GanAI platforms, playing a key role in designing and developing platform solutions that meet both technical and economic requirements. You will analyze current and future needs, collaborating with various teams to create solutions for complex platform challenges. Additionally, you'll be responsible for maintaining technical standards, documentation, and consulting on various design solutions. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring seamless integration of analytics tools and platforms.

Accountabilities:

• Independently plan and develop engineering designs to support integrated software, database, and analytics solutions.
• Develop and maintain an analytics technology ecosystem ensuring all tools work seamlessly together to support data scientists, engineers, and analysts.
• Provide consultation on platform designs, identify issues, and implement solutions for resolving design problems.
• Collaborate with IT stakeholders, service owners, and vendors to ensure platform implementations meet organizational needs.
• Maintain operational readiness by overseeing system support, incident resolution, software installation, and performance tuning.
• Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in a related field (or 7+ years of equivalent work experience).
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in platform administration and development.
• Proficient in AWS and Sagemaker platform administration.
• Strong Python coding experience and knowledge of S3 bucket creation.
• Experience working with GenAI platforms and deploying pipelines, as well as configuring and supporting AWS AI/ML services.
• Ability to collaborate with vendors on infrastructure and technology designs.
