Senior Accountant

This role is located onsite in El Paso, Texas. The Senior Accountant is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting. This Senior Accountant will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures. In this role the Senior Accountant will ensure accurate and timely financial statements. The Senior Accountant position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, managing accounts receivable and year-end audit preparation. The Senior Accountant will play a vital role in our operations at Datamark.

Requirements

BBA - Accounting

Minimum five years accounting experience with a minimum of three years in a supervisory position. Must have direct experience with payroll, account payable, accounts receivables, tax reporting, and financial statement preparation.

Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.

Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.

Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.

Assist the Controller in the daily banking requirements.

Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.

All other duties as assigned

Salary for this role is $74,000.00
