About the role

We're on the lookout for a highly driven Sales Manager Brand Solutions with a solid background in branded content sales, digital media sales, event IP sponsorships, and non-FCT sales (revenue from non-traditional mediums like digital). Bonus if you've had hands-on experience managing end-to-end brand campaigns.

The ideal candidate has previously thrived in new-age media companies, ad agencies, digital publishers, or other service-led environments and comes with a strong track record of revenue generation and building lasting client partnerships. This role demands full ownership of the sales cycle from prospecting and pitching to closing deals and ensuring seamless campaign delivery all while unlocking new revenue opportunities and keeping clients delighted.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Business Development & Sales Growth

  • Identify and onboard new clients through dedicated market research, competitor analysis, professional networking, and industry trend monitoring.
  • Generate revenue by selling branded content solutions, event sponsorships, and integrated media campaigns to startups, enterprises, agencies, Law firms, Investment banking and wealth management firms
  • Take a consultative approach to sales, ensuring alignment between brand solutions and client objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with digital agencies and marketing teams to drive long-term partnerships.
  • Bundle media solutions like digital content, video storytelling, custom brand campaigns, and bespoke events for clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (BrandLabs, Content, Marketing, and Account Management) to execute high-quality deliverables.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, product launches, and competitor activities to identify new revenue streams.

B. Sales Operations & Strategy

  • Own the complete sales cycle: lead generation, proposal creation, pitch presentations, negotiation, contract closure, and post-sales follow-up.
  • Conduct detailed client and competitor research to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare high-quality proposals, presentations, and sales decks with strong storytelling and data-driven insights.
  • Ensure timely revenue collection and maintain a strong pipeline visibility through CRM tools.
  • Utilize market intelligence to develop strategies to maximize market share.

C. Client Relationship Management & Account Growth

  • Act as a strategic consultant to clients, offering customized solutions to drive their marketing and business objectives.
  • Maintain high levels of client service, ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling content marketing solutions.
  • Build case studies and client testimonials to strengthen Inc42's market positioning.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure timely payments and project deliverables.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Experience: 4-8 years in B2B sales, ideally in media, digital advertising, agencies, consulting firms, or content-driven service industries. Experience in content solutions sales is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. A master's degree would be preferred.
  • Consultative Selling: Ability to understand client needs, craft tailored solutions, and drive iterative sales processes.
  • Business Acumen: Strong knowledge of the digital media landscape, marketing trends, and content-driven brand solutions.
  • Sales Expertise: Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, managing pipelines, and closing high-value deals.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills with a client-first approach.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with CRM tools, sales analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
