Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Registered Nurse with clinical editing and proofreading expertise. In this remote role, you will ensure the accuracy, clarity, and compliance of NYS Dispute Resolution and External Review determinations. This position blends clinical knowledge with editorial precision to ensure error-free documentation, improving team performance through error tracking and staff training.

• Conduct detailed reviews of pre-final dispute determinations using checklist tools
• Make clinical and mathematical edits to responses based on case documentation
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve final output
• Ensure content is grammatically correct and free of errors before release
• Track and analyze error trends to identify areas for improvement
• Provide technical assistance and participate in staff huddles

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or graduation from an accredited Registered Professional Nurse training program
• Post-graduate studies demonstrating proficiency in writing, editing, and proofreading skills

Licensure:

• Active New York State RN license (required)

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in acute care (medicine/surgery or special care units preferred)
• 1-3 years in acute care utilization review
• Proven proficiency in writing/editing (writing sample or publication required)

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in electronic medical records (coding, charting, quality metrics)
• Advanced proofreading, grammar, and mathematical validation skills

Soft Skills:

• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration abilities
• Ability to train and mentor staff effectively
