Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Registered Dental Assistant with 2 years of experience to join our friendly and dynamic practice. If you're a team player who is comfortable using intraoral digital scanners and eager to grow in the field of digital dentistry, we want to hear from you!

32 hours one week: Monday-Thursday 8AM-5PM
40 hours next week: Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM

JOB SUMMARY

The Dental Assistant will perform a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties, work chair-side as dentists examine and treat patients for dental procedures, and instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up treatment rooms following all procedures.
Prepare patients for treatment.
Answer patient and employee questions.
Assist the dentist with instruments and materials.
Take X-rays and create study casts.
Educate patients on oral hygiene.
Document patient care in records.
Keep patient information confidential.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Follow infection control policies.
Maintain dental equipment.
Manage supplies inventory.
Stay updated on professional knowledge.
Assist the team as needed.
Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
RDA license required
X-Ray Certification required
Coronal polishing required
Basic CPR Certification required
Proficient in Eaglesoft is a bonus but we can teach
Good computer and typing skills.
At least 2 years of experience in clinical setting as Dental Assistant.
Eaglesoft program is preferred
Able to use sound judgment, calm disposition and the ability to work easily with people.
