Public Relations Associate

We are seeking a strategic and creative Public Relations Associate to join our Marketing Team. This role will play a pivotal role in driving the public relations initiatives and advancing thePredictIt brand through earned media. The ideal candidate has a strong background inPRand media relations, with the ability to craft compelling narratives across multiple channels.

Salary: 70-100k/year

Requirements

• Work with thePRDirector to execute a comprehensive public relations strategy to enhance brand awareness and drive growth to the site
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, key influencers and other stakeholders
• Draftpress releases, statements and brand messaging in alignment with brand voice and business objectives
• Draft regularpress updates to drive media interest
• Assist, when needed, in social media account management across all channels (X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube)
• Assist in podcast outreach and partnership opportunities to drive growth to the site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in public relations or related field
• A working knowledge of markets and an interest in politics ispreferred
• Proven track record of securing media placements and managing brand reputation.
• Strong writing and communication skills with experience in craftingpress materials and digital content.
• Experience with crisis management andproactive brandprotection.
• Familiarity with social media trends and management tools andPRtracking tools (Meltwater, Newswire, etc.)
