• Research, write, edit, and fact-check press releases, statements, and editorials
• Develop and curate customized media contract lists, tailored for each client's location audience and campaigns
• Identify opportunities in the news cycle
• Collaborate and brainstorm alongside a team to assign tasks to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met
• Master and utilize company PR tools (such as Cision and Meltwater)
• Create? ?analysis? ?for? ?client/media? ?interactions? ?and? ?circulation
• Research, establish, and develop media relationships
• Present? ?superb? ?written? ?material? ?by? ?requested? ?deadlines
• Increase? ?media? ?interactions? ?with? ?client? ?press? ?releases? ?measured? ?by? ?company? ?analytics
• Other? ?activities? ?as? ?assigned? ?by? ?manager

The responsibilities are many, various, and not limited to those listed above.

Requirements

• Currently working towards BSc/BA or recent graduate in Public Relations, Communications, Business, or a related field
• Background in researching, writing and editing publications
• Interest in different industries, particularly in Faith, Business, and Government
• Excellent writing skills in multiple formats
• Presentation skills
• Project and Time management
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Results driven
• Knowledge of AP Style
