Job Description
Wyrick Robbins is seeking an attorney with 3+ 3-5 years of relevant law firm experience to join its market-leading Capital Markets practice. The group?s clients are publicly traded companies, primarily in the technology and life science industries, as well as investors in public companies. The group is experiencing strong growth and has particular need in its public offering, SEC reporting, and corporate governance practices. The firm has a collegial office environment with leading practitioners on sophisticated matters at a regional, national and even international level.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate ambition and initiative and should have the stated years of relevant law firm experience working with publicly traded companies and public offerings, and should have literacy with SEC reporting and disclosure, and corporate governance matters. Candidates will be expected to:
- advise clients on public offerings;
- advise clients on SEC reporting and disclosure matters;
- advise clients on corporate governance matters and stock exchange rules; and
- interact directly with company executives and boards of directors.
NC Bar admission (or ability to waive in) preferred. Outstanding undergraduate and law school academics. Excellent written, analytical and verbal skills required.
