The Opportunity:

We are interested in BA/BS degree seeding individuals in Operations Management, Business Administration, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Engineering from an accredited college.

Positions generally last 3-6 month and are either full-time or part time.

Having previous internship or large project experience is desirable.

Positions will be in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Responsibilities:

Working in the Curtiss-Wright Project Management Office (PMO) as an intern focused on improving our Project Management ecosystem, gaining exposure on how a technology organization manages demand and tracks work effort.

Responsibilities may include, preparing and maintaining project documentation, developing project plans and organizing project schedules, communicating with project teams, and assisting with data collection and analysis.

What you will gain:

Learn how project management teams are organized, and what makes a project successful

Relevant skills and competencies that will help you become an effective professional project manager including identifying work items, developing timelines, creating and managing budgets, and communicating to stakeholders and team members.

A basic knowledge of the nuclear industry and power plant functionality and oversight

A network of professionals that can help you in your future career endeavors

A Great start to obtaining a PMP certification

Qualifications:

Enrollment in a BA or BS degree from an accredited college in Operations Management, Business Administration, Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering, or a related field.

A Junior or Senior with a GPA of 3.0 or higher

Experience with Microsoft Office Products, including Microsoft Project helpful
