As a Process & Data Specialist at Envalior, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the quality, completeness and consistency of SAP master data.

The most important master data are: Materials, Customers, Vendors, Info records, contracts, BOMs, master recipes and Reference tables such as; Routing tables, Pricing and Rebates etc.

The purpose is to enable correct and on time SAP business process execution, to facilitate the uninterrupted order flow and to assure accurate reporting in Business Warehouse/ PowerBI. For this purpose the Process and Data Specialist will challenge the content of the master data when needed and change the process or add new workflows if required by changed business circumstances.

Improved quality of master data will result in lower operational costs and improved inventory management, i.e. lower stocks / working capital.

Accurate reporting is a requirement for sound business decisions.

The master data workflow will secure compliance to internal control requirements.

The jobholder defines and implements reports to show the quality of master data and to drive the corrections of incorrect master data, they organize sessions with business users to discuss and improve master data quality.

The jobholder initiates automation activities to improve efficiency, smaller automations activities are implemented by themselves.

The jobholder evaluates the activities performed by the business users with the intention to take over these activities by the Process and Data Management team.

From there on the activities will be harmonized, standardized and preferrable automated. These automation activities will be executed by the jobholder or (s)he will manage the project to get this done.

The jobholder will support in mass changes of master data, creating/ preparing the tooling, performing impact analyses and making sure the master data will be updated in the system correctly and completely.

As a result the jobholder will drive projects to improve the performance of master data management (w.r.t. data quality, efficiency and agility)

a) Key areas of accountability/responsibility

1. Coordinate and facilitate the operational SAP master data workflow process (create / change / delete) over the various departments/persons, to secure quality of the data, progress of the workflow and adherence to the internal control requirements. This allows the Envalior business processes to operate correctly and in a responsive manner. Via IRIS and ICF reporting unauthorized master data changes outside the workflow are monitored. In special cases mass uploads of master data will be done via specific upload tools.

2. Checks of master data and tables on quality, completeness and consistency to assure the reliability of the SAP business processes and reporting tools. Regular cleaning of obsolete SAP master data elements. Points 1) and 2) lead to less manual interference, thus reducing operational costs and inventory reduction.

Running simple and complex queries on the SAP database as ad hoc reporting to support the business in optimization projects.

3. Ensure the governance of master data is setup in a proper way and that it will remain hardwired in the tooling used to manage the master data (in most cases the master data workflow system). Align with master data owners on criteria and frequency to clean up non used master data objects (like customers, vendors and materials)

4. Train master data owners in the management and understanding of their master data as part of the overall master data workflow globally.

5. Maintain procedures and instructions and continuous improvement of the master data workflow, to assure an up to date

workflow process. Defining new workflows when applicable.

6. Align with business users on the activities to be performed in every step in the process. Convince the business users to harmonize the way of working globally. Discuss actions needed to take over the activities by the process and data team. As next steps start standardizing and automating the activities.

7. The jobholder supports various projects actively, the specific master data improvement projects are managed by the jobholders themselves.

b) Projects/special assignments

1. Implementation of the Master data workflow process within Envalior. Assist with the preparation of procedures, instructions, workflow process and other tools before implementation. Train master data users in the new master data workflow processes.

2. Set up specific quality checks per master data owner and MDA and integrate these in the IRIS and ICF tool to secure ongoing quality checks. Train the master data users in performing their quality checks.

3. When a certain activity has been taken over from business user and fully automated, another activity will be appointed to pick up with same intention to automate. This can be in or (partly) outside assigned business process. In this way the content

of the role keeps on changing over time.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate

• The function requires knowledge of the Envalior business processes mostly covered by
• the standard business processes.
• Educational level: Bachelor
• Advanced knowledge of SAP.
• Advanced knowledge of MS-Excel, including basic programming skills
• Basic experience in reporting and analytics
• Good knowledge of the English language, both in verbal and written communication.
• Working experience in one or preferably more SAP modules, preferably at key user level.
• Working experience in master data management processes
• Working experience in one or preferably more business processes
• Working experience in defining and creating reports
