Job Description

POOLHOUSE, a Republican political and advertising agency, is looking for creative, intelligent, and eager interns to join our team this summer! POOLHOUSE's summer internship program is a full-time, 10-week paid internship open to rising college juniors, seniors, and post-graduates. Designed to propel your career in political and issue campaign advertising including account management, design, production, media and political strategy.

Interns are selected to work alongside a specific department for the length of the program. POOLHOUSE interns are placed within a specific department and paired with direct mentors. You'll also gain exposure across the agency to sharpen your professional and communication skills.

This summer we're looking for interns to join our political and creative/design teams this summer to the team behind winning conservative campaigns, causes and clients across the country.

Requirements

Campaign and Hill experience is +++
Proven organization skills and the ability to adapt to new assignments, deadlines, and conditions quickly
Strong verbal and written communication skills whether presenting to colleagues, drafting emails to clients and team members, or being present on a client call
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications preferred.
Developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a variety of people across multiple departments.
Working knowledge of G Suite is a plus.
History of strong leadership skills through work experience and/or extracurricular activities
Familiar with the digital advertising, or communications discipline through past coursework, internships, or personal experiences

Additional Information:

Interns are paid minimum wage and will work full time
Interns must be available for a full-time, 10-week program running from June 2nd to August 8th, 2025
Interns must have reliable transportation
Interns will be asked to be present in the DC office - Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm
Candidates must attach a resume, as well as a design portfolio (if applicable)
