Paralegal

The Long Island Office in Huntington, NY is looking for a Paralegal to join our growing team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Schedule depositions and defense medical exams/expert retention.
• Enter billable time entries into ProLaw.
• Prepare legal documents.
• Calendar/docket.
• Research legal precedent.
• Trial preparation.

Position Requirements:

• General Liability experience required. Proficiency in legal procedure and protocol, local and federal court systems required.
• 2-5 years of legal experience preferred.
• Will need to accompany attorneys on occasion to court appearances and depositions. Will also need to report on occasion to the Long Island Office as required per case schedule.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
• Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.

This is a remote position; however, candidates must able to report to as needed to NY courts and our Huntington, NY office.

The salary rage for this position is $50,000-$70,000 and represents C&W?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, included but not limited to experience and qualifications.
