Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams to establish the arrangement and positioning of machinery within a manufacturing environment.

Safely and effectively determine and implement procedures for the installation of new machinery and equipment, as well as the disassembly and relocation of existing units.

Assemble, disassemble, and install various machines, conveyors, pumps, and compressors, while also participating in their testing to ensure proper functionality.

Conduct assembly, installation, and maintenance tasks on equipment such as agitators, conveyors, pumps, and compressors.

Ensure proper alignment, leveling, tracking, and plumbing of machines, conveyors, pumps, and other equipment.

Utilize diverse methods for machine assembly, including bolting, welding, and riveting, to secure them to foundations or other structures.

Diagnose and repair malfunctioning components of machinery, performing temporary fixes or replacing parts as necessary.

Apply lubrication to machines, agitators, pumps, and other equipment to maintain optimal performance.

Repair industrial storage racking systems within warehouse settings.

Employ rigging techniques and equipment to facilitate safe handling and movement of machinery.

Basic Job Qualification Requirements:

3+ Years Experience

Able to work minimum 40+ plus hours per week.

Able to work Holidays.

Self-motivated individual with a cooperative attitude a must.

Ability to work with minimum or direct supervision.

Follow all health, safety & environmental requirements.

Reliable transportation to and from work

Physical Requirements

Work up to 12hr+ Shifts for a 40hr+ week

Work at elevated heights using Ladders, Scaffolding, Aerial Lifts

Able to lift up to 40 lbs throughout the shift

Able to stand and work for prolonged periods of time

Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform the basic and essential functions as identified above

Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas

Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises

Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces

Must be able to work wearing Hardhat, Safety glasses, Safety/Steel toe boots, High visibility vest and Fall arrest harness equipment

Able to work inside or outside with various temperature and weather conditions and where noise levels are at or above 85 decibels with hearing protection

EDUCATION: Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
