Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Execute the layout, routing, fabrication, assembly, and installation of new utility and process piping systems in accordance with project specifications.
Conduct repairs, modifications, or alterations to existing utility and process piping systems as needed.
Assess the worksite to identify any obstructions that may affect pipe routing and ensure safe access for installation or maintenance tasks.
Identify the necessary tools and materials required for efficient and safe task execution.
Strategically plan the installation sequence to circumvent obstructions and coordinate with other construction or operational activities.
Carry out inspections of materials, tools, and equipment to ensure readiness for use.
Perform hydrostatic or pneumatic testing on both new and existing piping systems to verify integrity.
Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols throughout the work process.
Demonstrate basic mathematical skills essential for the role.
Read and interpret various standard construction drawings, including blueprints, P&IDs, schematics, isometrics, and 3D models.
Basic Job Qualification Requirements:
3+ Years Experience
Able to work minimum 40+ plus hours per week.
Self-motivated individual with a cooperative attitude a must
Ability to work with minimum or direct supervision.
Follow all health, safety & environmental requirements.
Able to work Holidays as needed.
Reliable transportation to and from work
Physical Requirements
Work up to 12hr+ Shifts for a 40hr+ week
Work at elevated heights using Ladders, Scaffolding, Aerial Lifts
Able to lift up to 40 lbs throughout the shift.
Able to stand and work for prolonged periods of time
Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform the basic and essential functions as identified above
Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms, and other job-related noises
Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
Must be able to work wearing Hardhat, Safety glasses, Safety/Steel toe boots, High visibility vest and Fall arrest harness equipment
Able to work inside or outside with various temperature and weather conditions and where noise levels are at or above 85 decibels with hearing protection
EDUCATION: Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
