Operations Director

The Store Operations Director will report directly to the CEO and serve as a key strategic thought partner with her. This role will oversee a range of operational functions to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Pressed Roots business. This role is crucial in driving operational excellence, optimizing resources, and managing expansion initiatives. Compensation is consistent with start-ups.

Responsibilities:

Oversight of the daily studio operation, including the management of the entire Field Team (District, and Studio Management Teams)

Ownership of P&L as well as NPS of operating studios.

Drive top-line revenue growth across all locations by implementing sales strategies, optimizing service offerings, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Refine standard operating procedures to ensure operational excellence across all locations.

Optimize resources to maximize efficiency and profitability, and integrate technology to support customer experience and process excellence.

Coordinate facility maintenance and cleaning to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for customers and employees.

Identify and mitigate operational risks to ensure continuity and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and/or 5-10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the retail or salon industry with a top tier firm
• Early stage or small company experience, familiar with limited resources, more "do" than "delegate"
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
• Appreciation for working with employees and customers who are largely minority
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to think strategically and solve classic start up complex problems and make quick decisions with limited data
• Experience or background in Finance a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
