Russo's On The Bay/ Vetro Restaurant & Lounge is looking for an experienced Host/ess who can serve as an overall representative for our business. This role entails someone with great communication, impeccable attention to detail and people skills. The candidate must be a passionate, respectful, hospitality-focused leader with the ability to delight our guests. We believe everything a guest remembers starts with great service, and the Host/Hostess plays an intricate role in the guests' experience.

Requirements

Duties:

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor. - Manage the flow of guests and ensure timely seating.
• Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries.
• Maintain a clean and organized host station.
• Use POS system (preferably Digital Dining POS), and Reservation System Open Table to manage reservations and seating arrangements.
• Perform clerical duties/ administrative task.
• Provide exceptional guest service by addressing any concerns or special requests.
• Responsible for open and closing duties, but not limited to performing other responsibilities not mentioned here.

Experience:

• 2+ Years' experience in a similar role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of hospitality industry practices and standards.

Preferred (not required) Bilingual Spanish

Shifts

Weekdays - Evening, Nights, Weekends, Holidays

In Person Role Must be able to commute or planning to relocate before starting work.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Physical setting: Fine dining restaurant

Weekly day range: Monday to Friday; Weekends as needed

Salary: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
