Job Title: Network Engineering Analyst

Location: Manhattan Beach, CA (on site M-F from 9am to 5pm)

Contract Length:

3 months with the strong possibility to extend to a longer term engagement

Pay range:

$52 - $55/hr

JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of this role is to maintain and improve the network infrastructure in the corporate building environments including offices, distribution centers, and data centers.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS

Breakfix and service request tickets for the corporate environment.

Maintain/manage the code and configs in the corporate environment.

Assist in the provisioning of new buildings as well as upgrading existing environment.

Perform hardware/software configuration and release management.

Design, install, maintain, configure, secure and support hardware platforms, operating systems, wired/wireless network components, firewalls, private access (VPN), load balancers, and related products and technologies.

Comprehensive understanding and ability to troubleshoot hardware/software on the following deployed technologies, Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki, Aruba, and F5.

Additional Responsibilities

Monitoring and level1 troubleshooting

Propose and review hardware and solutions for the corporate environment

Manage tier1 ticket queue and work closely with Service Desk and remote international support resources

Manage and coordinate 3 rd

party vendors for support

Review and propose more scalable and efficient workflows for r the corporate environment

Propose more efficient processes for incident handling and provisioning

Participate in corporate environment on-call rotation

Job Requirements

Networking fundamentals with Cisco/Meraki, Palo Alto or comparable hardware

Familiarity with firewalls, switches, and access points

Understanding of network architecture principles, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls)

Remote tool support and admin level management of devices as well software

Software installations and scripts

Experience with monitoring tools (DataDog, SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, etc.)

VPN, VLANs, subnetting, spreadsheets

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelors in computer science or equivalent experience

Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience working in an IT Networking role

Strongly efficient in Service Now, Microsoft Excel, Outlook

Bilingual not required but nice to have
