goSTOPS, a leading company operated hostel brand is lookingto expand its presence in India. With 35+ locations currently across India, we are looking to add another 60+ properties by the end of 2026. The properties we are looking for would be licensed budget to mid-range hotels or resorts with 20-50 air conditioned ensuite rooms. We are lookingfor a supply manager who would be able to tap into their existing network of brokers & consultants, qualify the leads and holdpreliminary discussionswith the property owners. The role would be based out of our office in Delhi and would require a fair bit of travel mainly in North India to assess properties on a preliminary basis.

About Role -

As a Multi-Skilled Technician at GoStops Hostels, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our hostel facilities. You will be responsible for performing a variety of technical tasks, ranging from repairs and maintenance to troubleshooting and facility management. This position requires a versatile individual with a broad range of skills and the ability to adapt to different situations and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of hostel facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building repairs.

2. Troubleshooting: Identify and diagnose technical issues related to hostel equipment, appliances, and infrastructure, and implement appropriate solutions in a timely manner.

3. Facility Management: Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the hostel, ensuring a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for guests. This includes monitoring and maintaining essential systems such as fire safety, security, and energy management.

4. Equipment and Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts. Coordinate with the management team to ensure an adequate supply of materials for repairs and maintenance.

5. Guest Assistance: Provide prompt and effective assistance to guests in resolving technical issues, ensuring their satisfaction and comfort during their stay at the hostel.

6. Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external contractors and service providers for specialized repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring quality work and adherence to established timelines.

7. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment servicing. Prepare reports as required by the management team.

8. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, regulations, and industry standards while performing maintenance and repair tasks. Identify potential safety hazards and take appropriate preventive measures.

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

Proven experience as a multi-skilled technician, maintenance technician, or similar role.

Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.

Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues and implementing effective solutions.

Familiarity with fire safety, security, and energy management systems is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team.

Flexibility to work on a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required.
