The Litigation pod at Klaris Law is seeking a dynamic and skilled mid-level associate (3rd to 6th year) to join our 20-lawyer, media and intellectual property-focused law firm based in New York City. This role is designed to support a number of contested matters as well as pre-publication/pre-broadcast review of content. This position offers a rare opportunity to engage in significant copyright, First Amendment, and newsgathering litigation work, as well as commercial matters associated with the media business. he annualized salary range for this position in New York City is $160,000 to $185,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate?s education, training, experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees are eligible for a bonus and health insurance with an optional HSA, dental insurance, vision insurance, long-term and short-term disability, life insurance, FSA, 401(k), up to 15 Paid Time Off/Vacation days and 9 paid Federal holidays each year plus sick time and entitlement leave.
