Docyt digitizes financial data, automates both income and expense workflows, does continuous reconciliation, and generates real-time financial statements. Role and responsibilities

Docyt is seeking a self-driven and motivated Member of Technical Staff - QA. The Member of Technical Staff - QA should exhibit accountability, dependability, self-motivation, clear communication skills, and a passion for quality. Previous experience with Jira, TestRail and Scrum will be helpful. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates who do not necessarily have all of the qualifications but have sufficient experience and talent.

• Work as part of an Agile team, helping to ensure that all User Stories have well-documented User Acceptance Criteria, and that those tests are executed within the iteration cycle
• Collaborating with other stakeholders including colleagues in Product, Development, QA, and Users
• Promptly provide testing feedback and communication to all stakeholders
• Communicates professionally at all levels within and outside of the organization
• Be responsible for the whole software testing lifecycle (analyzing the business requirements, support in preparing the test plans, creating the test cases (both manual and automated))
• Plan and coordinate all cycles of testing, including functional-level system tests business scenario-based testing, to ensure proper test coverage while mitigating redundancy where possible
• Reporting and managing defects through to successful resolution
• Following up with team members with unresolved issues, or to confirm resolved issues
• Support Continuous Integration
• Experience testing mobile applications (iOS and Android) helpful
• Collaborate with programmers and business experts to gain an understanding of complex business logic
• Participate in daily scrums features planning discussions
• Mentors and provides training assistance to New Hired QA Engineers

Additional Responsibilities

• May assist QA Manager in recruitment, which includes drawing upon relationships and experience to recommend qualified candidates, interviewing candidates, and preparing hiring recommendations
• Represents Docyt values to other associates and clients
• Shares knowledge with others (e.g. mentoring, updates to Docyt Wiki repositories, internal/external presentations)
• Creates or contributes to technical articles published on Docyt sites and/or for technical publications

Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience in Mobile/Web/API testing - including test planning, authoring, execution & defect reporting in Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban)
• Understanding the processes of development and testing in Agile (SCRUM) methodologies
• Good understanding of QA theory and practice as part of SDLC
• Experience working in fast-paced agile environments (SCRUM)
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Demonstrable knowledge of QA test automation is plus
• 3 or more years experience Developing Test Plans, Test Procedures, and Test Cases
• Attentions to detail, customer-service orientation, and creativity in problem-solving
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Good written and spoken English
