Mechanical Professional NS&E

Our client, a leading engineering and construction firm, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer NS&E to join their team. As a Mechanical Engineer NS&E, you will be part of the engineering department supporting the Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant project. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong background in mechanical design, and the ability to collaborate effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Richland, WA

Pay Range:

$32.50 per hour

What's the Job?

Designing fluid and gas systems in the Waste Treatment Plant process facilities.

Preparing technical reports, studies, and design documentation, including calculations using engineering software.

Interfacing and coordinating with other engineering disciplines and clients to develop comprehensive designs.

Collecting process, safety, and other requirements for fluid process systems and specifying equipment.

Developing piping and instrument diagrams, formal calculations, and equipment datasheets for detailed design.

What's Needed?

BS degree in Mechanical, Nuclear, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university or college with at least 3 years of related experience.

Experience in Piping and Instrument Diagram (P&ID) development and fluid system design.

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.

Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a Department of Energy badge for access to the Hanford Site.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
