We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and grow a team of Site Reliability Engineers (SREs), ensuring platform stability and reliability while actively contributing to strategy, prioritizati on, and mission setting for the SRE team. This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional leaders to build a strong foundation for our product offerings, optimizing infrastructure and processes, and supporting the development teams in deploying new features, all while fostering an inclusive environment that promotes trust and accountability across teams.

• Lead, grow, and support a diverse team of Site Reliability Engineers (SREs), fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product, research, design, and data, to design and implement scalable infrastructure and automated deployment pipelines.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, ensuring cohesive product experiences and technical abstractions.
• Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting systems, and troubleshoot production incidents to minimize downtime and improve system reliability.
• Continuously optimize infrastructure and processes for scalability and efficiency, while staying up-to-date with advancements in site reliability engineering.
• Support career growth and development of team members, fostering professional growth and enabling high-quality work.
• Establish trust within and across teams by creating accountability and fostering a positive work environment.
• Participate in on-call rotations, perform routine maintenance, and contribute to ongoing efforts to improve security posture and compliance with industry standards.

Important Note: This role is open to candidates based in KSA, with options for relocation or remote work arrangements.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2-3+ years of experience successfully managing high-output engineering teams.
• Proven track record of building and shipping high-quality products, especially in ambiguous or innovative spaces.
• Genuine desire to build an equitable culture of belonging and impact within the engineering organization.
• Passion for fostering diversity and inclusion, promoting a collaborative and supportive team environment.
• Unwavering commitment to improving engineering productivity, with experience scaling products and teams in high-growth environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Ruby, Java, Go, etc.).
• Experience with one or more automation and configuration management tools (Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, etc.).
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, etc.)
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and related technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
• A strong grasp of computer science fundamentals when it comes to dealing with distributed systems and networks.
