Manager, Indirect Procurement - Consulting

We are looking for a Global Procurement Manager - Indirect, Corporate Services responsible to support the sourcing activities and development of Category Management strategies. This role owns the category activities, supplier relationship management (SRM), actively participates in supplier selection, and manages ongoing contracting, administrative, performance and service delivery.

A typical day might include:

Partner with team members to plan short- and long-term business requirements to develop and implement all aspects of category management, sourcing events including negotiating and administering complex contracts and terms. Request for Proposals/Quotes/Information (RFP, RFQ, RFI, collectively RFx).

Identifies global/local supply market projects and applies sourcing tools to optimize benefits to Regeneron

Understands internal and external market trends and negotiations levers to drive/deliver value across the business areas and organization

Partner with legal, quality, risk management, and supply chain to uniformly support the inclusion of relevant contractual terms and conditions

Lead SRM initiatives including, but not limited to, conducting performance meetings, driving the development and use of scorecards, working with partners to review performance metrics, and leading supplier relationships to achieve the goals of the category strategy

Lead Procure to Pay coaching and trainings

Build partnerships, support business area inquiries, and educate partners regarding the sourcing and contract process and seek to identify system/process enhancements

This role might be for you if you have:

Bachelor's plus 7+ years of relevant, wide-ranging experience, to preferably include 5 years directly in sourcing Pharma/Biotech. OR Master?s plus 5+ years of relevant, dynamic experience, to preferably include 3 years directly in sourcing within Pharma/Biotech.

CPSM/CPM preferred

We are ideally seeking someone with a proven capability to lead a supply base and enhance value, minimize risk, and ensure quality & cost effectiveness. This role will be the primary Global Procurement contact within the specific categories globally. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Category Management, SRM, Contracting, ERP, eRFX systems preferred. (Oracle, Zycus, iCertis, Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and Cost modelling knowledge.

This role requires working onsite a minimum of 3 days per week.

Salary Range (annually)

$113,100.00 - $184,700.00
