Maintenance Technician

Banyan Living is a vibrant and expanding company dedicated to the ownership and management of luxury apartment homes throughout the greater Cleveland and Columbus regions. We pride ourselves on offering exceptional living experiences to our residents, and we are currently in search of a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be instrumental in maintaining the functionality, safety, and aesthetics of our properties. Your expertise in repair and maintenance tasks will ensure that our residents enjoy a comfortable and well-maintained living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Assist with the preparation of units for new residents, ensuring all aspects are clean and operational.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and materials used.
• Maintain the grounds, including landscaping and common areas.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of relevant maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
• Ability to physically handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC.
