Job Description

Banyan Living, a leading property management company in the Cleveland and Akron/Canton areas, is seeking an Area Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing maintenance support to multiple apartment communities in close proximity to each other in the Akron/Canton area. You will ensure that the properties are well-maintained and that resident work orders are completed in a timely manner.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in residential or multifamily property maintenance.
Strong knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work orders and tasks.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in using computer software and mobile devices.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and climbing ladders.
Reliable transportation to travel between different properties.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
