Our client, a leading Metal Fabrication Company, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Elkhart, IN
Pay Rate:
$21.75 per hour
What's the Job?
Operate machinery for metal fabrication processes.
Train on BAL/wastewater and Coil Prep slitter/welder, possibly roll grind.
Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving machinery issues.
What's Needed?
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a machining background.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Willingness to work afternoon shifts from 3 PM to 11 PM, with potential for 12-hour shifts.
Physical capability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods on cement floors.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
