Machine Operator

Our partner, a leading food manufacturing company committed to sustainability and producing high-quality organic products, is seeking a Machine Operator Night Shift for their facility in Sussex, WI . This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of processing or packaging lines in a fast-paced production environment.

Shift Hours: 5:50 PM 6:00 AM (rotating 2-2-3 schedule)
Pay Range: $19.93 $27.92 (based on role)
Sign-On Bonus: $2,000

• Operate automated packaging and processing equipment.
• Prepare machinery and ensure materials are available for production runs.
• Monitor equipment performance and replenish materials as necessary.
• Inspect products visually and document results accurately.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate when needed.
• Perform machine changeovers, setups, adjustments, and cleaning procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas.
• Ensure accurate labeling and documentation in accordance with standards.
• Verify product quality and make necessary adjustments to meet requirements.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong attendance record.
• Detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to support various production needs as required.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Ability to operate production equipment safely with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with industrial technology (e.g., HMI interfaces, labeling equipment) is a plus.
• Ability to stand, twist, and bend for 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
